Mandate

• Nominate persons to the positions on Church Council and the chairs of the standing committees, and to present the names for election to these positions at the Annual Meeting.

• Suggest persons for membership on the standing committees.

Activities and Responsibilities

• Meet on a regular basis and when the need arises to suggest persons to the positions on Church Council, trying to recruit persons to leadership who reflect the gender, age, race and sexual orientation diversity found in our congregation.

• Although usually nominations are presented at the Annual Meeting, if the need arises throughout the year to find replacements for members of the Church Council and to present these names to the Church Council for selection.
